We just looked through all the photos and read many entries. What an amazing journey! What a great example of fortitude and adventure for the youth of Ironwood Tree Experience!

Just caught up with Dick Gase online a couple weeks ago. He was taking a well-deserved rest in Colorado, shortly after crossing into the state by foot on the Continental Divide Trail. And I believe he celebrated his 30th birthday during this break, too.

Dick’s been on the trail since late April, and has made it from the Mexican border through the state of New Mexico and into Colorado. He’s already got 42 journal entries and 100+ photos posted at http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?trailname=10192 Look for him under his trail name, Jack and the Beanstalk.
