Expeditionary Experience Application

Expeditionary Experience is an immersion program that challenges teens to take responsibility for themselves and others in their group. At times, all participants will assume leadership roles as well as fellow collaborators in decision making and planning. Teens who feel ready for more rigorous physical and mental responsibility are encouraged to apply.

ITE teens who have completed a Get Experience EcoProgram are invited to participate in Expeditionary Experience. Parents are invited to attend an orientation a week before the expedition. More information will be provided upon receipt of application.

As with all programs, each session begins at Prescott College Tucson Center at 2233 E. Speedway, between Tucson Boulevard and Campbell Avenue. Participants must have reliable transportation to and from each session and carpooling is encouraged.

Expeditionary Experience EcoProgram cost is variable and depends upon the particular excursion.  ITE will also accept payment in 2 equal installments over the course of the program (please speak to Suzanne, Eric, Rachel or Ryan about setting up a payment plan).

Eligibility ● Teens who have completed a Get Experience or have completed other Expeditionary Experience EcoPrograms are eligible.
Duration ● one orientation meeting, 4 days in the field,  and a final community gathering
