Expeditionary Experience! Application

Expeditionary Experience! is an involved program that will ask participants to take much more responsibility for themselves and others in their group than was required in Get Outside! and Get Experience!. At times all participants will be asked to lead an aspect of the program and to collaborate in decision making and planning. Applicants who feel ready for more intense physical and mental responsibility are encouraged to apply.

Only ITE teens that have completed Get Experience! eco-program are invited to participate in Expeditionary Experience! Due to the participants’ familiarity with the Ironwood Tree Experience program style we will hit the trail starting with our very first session. Parents will be invited to attend an information meeting 2 weeks before our excursion to the Sea of Cortez and for the final Community Gathering. More information will be provided upon receipt of application.

As with all programs each session begins at Prescott College Tucson Center at 2233 E. Speedway, between Tucson Boulevard and Campbell Avenue. Participants must have reliable transportation to and from each session and carpooling is always encouraged.

The program cost is $500.00 per participant and some scholarship funds are available. ITE will also accept payment in 2 or 3 equal installments over the course of the program (please speak to Suzanne or Eric about setting this up).
