Get Experience

 Get Experience Application

Get Experience! takes EcoProgramming to the next level. Get Experience! integrates and enhances skills practiced in Get Outside! and adds new skills and experiences for backpacking and rock climbing and for working alongside community professionals.

Get Outside! is not a prerequisite to the Get Experience! EcoProgram, but we do suggest that teens with limited outdoor experience first participate in Get Outside!.

Among the maples

Get Experience! teens join the fun with overnight camping trips, hikes, rock climbing, and backpacking in back country areas throughout the Tucson Basin including Santa Catalina Mountains, Chiricahua Mountains and San Pedro River.

While having fun, developing expertise, and making personal discoveries in the backcountry teens design, initiate, and drive projects that enhance our urban community and provide important planning and cooperative skills for future leaders.

Get Experience! EcoProgram is a prerequisite to advanced EcoPrograms such as Expeditionary Experience!, Epic Experience!, and Mentorship.
