Global Experience~Costa Rica!
Ironwood Tree Experience in partnership with City High School and Monteverde Institute experienced our first Global Experience EcoProgram with twelve motivated teens! This educational and experiential tropical journey to lowland forests, coral reefs, culturally distinct Afro-Caribbean coast, the hypnotic volcanic spectacle of Arenal and cool, tropical cloud forests of Monteverde was a smashing success!
Global Experience EcoPrograms is for high school aged teens, ages 14-18, with extensive ITE program experience and a strong desire for challenge and adventure. GlobalX extends the geography of experience to new ecological communities and associated cultures. Teens must be willing to attempt new experiences and agree to actively participate in preparing and conducting presentations in the field and in front of an audience.
